Make A Difference With COFI

The definition of a miracle is a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences. The purpose of a miracle may be in the direct and immediate result of the event, cure of illness, or provision of plenty to the needy. Miracles do still happen everyday because around us, life bursts with mysteries and hope. We’re all born with a conscience that guides us towards the path of goodness and kindness. This means that we often do good deeds unconsciously because it’s simply in our nature to want to do so. A philanthropist is defined as a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.

 

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) is a faith-based non-governmental, non-political organization under the direction of its visionary and legendary founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Through the promotion and sponsorship of charitable initiatives, COFI was established to help individuals, communities and nations lead purposeful and productive lives in the service of the Lord. In a recent bid to minimize the devastating socio-economic impact of the recent Global Health crisis, caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Chris Oyakhilome initiated the first-of-its-kind Global Emergency Relief for Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel. In a plea for action, he expressed that “there are many Pastors around the world in dire need. They were forsaken, neglected during this period; we have to work together to reach them. Let us reach our brothers and sisters who are Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel in dire need so that they will know that the Lord did not forget them. Through our structure, we would find many of them and reach them.”

 

The pastor explained that many of the ministers who are in desperate circumstances, are praying and expecting a miracle and that God expects us to be the answer to their prayers. He called on other ministries to participate actively in the exercise, clarifying that the gesture is not limited to members of LoveWorld Inc. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome encouraged everyone to heed the call and contribute meaningfully to the project as faithful partners in reaching out to the needy. Following this global call, distribution of relief packages for COFI Global Emergency Relief Aid for Pastors in Dire Need, continues with missions distributing food all over the world.
