This Christmas, we are all about demonstrating the love of Jesus and bringing the special cheer and celebration to the millions of people who don’t have anything prepared for them, as we send 1 million portions of food, drinks, and gifts for Christmas.

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) strives to make an impact on the lives of those who the world forgets. Working in partnership with local organizations in both the public and private sector COFI works to eradicate poverty. The many different NGOs that make up COFI not only work to counter the effects of poverty but to build a sustainable future.

The Send Portions campaign will ensure that 1 million children have a memorable Christmas this season. Christmas is a time to give, show love, and express kindness. There is no better way to celebrate this Christmas season, the season of giving, than by putting a smile on the faces of needy children. The annual Send Portions campaign initiated originally by founding father, Chris Oyakhilome, is a special outreach to celebrate children in the inner cities who may not have the opportunity of experiencing the true meaning of Christmas.

Over the years, their programs and interventions in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have impacted the lives of over 20 million indigent beneficiaries mostly children around the world in underserved, hard-to-reach communities, from one country in 2005, to over 60 countries in 2020.

Join the InnerCity Mission to spread love, joy & hope through the distribution of super packed Christmas portions to 1 million needy children in slums, inner-cities, IDP camps, orphanages, Children’s hospitals, and other child care related institutions around the world, in the annual global, ‘Send Portions‘ campaign.

International Volunteers Day

As we gear up to commemorate the UN International Volunteers Day on the 5th of December, we would like to take the opportunity to thank our tireless volunteers and partners, without which, this amazing and effective organization could not continually deliver the food and education needed to sustain the neglected and impoverished children.

Every day, volunteers dedicate time and effort to ensure the inclusion of those often left behind, drive climate action and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the lead up to #IVD2021, join us in celebrating the contributions of millions who #VolunteerNow for our common future!

The United Nations website sums it up by saying: “Through the IVD campaign this year, volunteer now for our common future, we aim to inspire people, whether they are decision makers or citizens of this world, to take action now for people and the planet.

When people are encouraged to get involved in solving problems, the solutions are more likely to be feasible and lasting. Volunteers engage communities and build a people-centric movement to help build a better and safer future for us all.

For the generations of tomorrow, we must take responsibility for the changes needed to build a better future now. Encouraging, recognizing, and promoting volunteerism is an important part of creating a more equal and inclusive future for communities and worldwide.”

Donate to one of the many campaigns or consider becoming one of the beloved volunteers or partners.
