Spreading Joy At Christmas With The Inner City Missions

 

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) strives to make an impact on the lives of those who the world forgets. Working in partnership with local organizations in both the public and private sector COFI works to eradicate poverty. The many different NGOs that makeup COFI not only works to counter the effects of poverty but to build a sustainable future.

In a sustainable future, the poor of today will become productive and active members of society. The Inner City Mission for Children is an NGO that is working to build a brighter future for indigent children all over the world. With food drives, food banks and the distribution of nourishing meals the cycle of poverty will be broken.

 

With the alleviation of hunger then the education of our future leaders and workers is apriority. With access to quality education, the cycle of poverty can begin to unravel. Education is the foundation of growth and change within our society.

 

Every Child Is Your Child

 

We think globally these days. All over the world, there are poverty-stricken children crying out to be fed and educated. At Christmas time it is the ideal to give and the gift of love and hope. “This gift would remain as a symbol of God’s love even after the food and drinks have been long digested. For many, it might just be the only time they are remembered, and we want to make it count.”

 

The Send Portions With A Gift

 

The Inner City Mission invites its global partners to help children living in inner cities, orphanages, IDP camps, and other institutions celebrate Christmas with joy. Click here to send portions and give a child a warm satisfying meal and a special gift just for Christmas.

 

Inner City Mission all over the world

 

In collaboration with the Inner-City Missions Haven in South Africa, they made Christmas memorable. Woodstock Cape Town and reached 14 girls who had been rescued from the streets. The Haven Zone E2 and its Pretoria chapters in collaboration with the  InnerCityMission celebrated the International Day of Service by participating in the “send portions with a gift” campaign. They sent portions to 120 children at the Siyangoba After Care center in Olivenhout Centurion.

Updates from around the world. The Send Portions With A Gift celebration from Dallas, Texas is powered by their partners in Christ Embassy Texas Zone 2. Houston is supported by the partners of Texas Zone 1.21 families have been supported with non-perishable foods and the children received gifts and are looking forward to the Christmas season.

In Manchester England, The LoveWorld UK Zone 4 partnered the Inner-City Mission and went to Cheetwood Primary School. They distributed gifts at the party. All the children had an uplifting fun time in celebration of Christmas.
